Tan-Fortifying Cream

A lovely gold tan sometimes quickly wears off… So let’s prepare a simple, make-at-home cream for tan fortification and enjoy our suntan for even longer than usual!

You’ll need:

  • 1 Tbsp. of shea butter
  • 1 Tbsp. of cocoa butter
  • 1 Tbsp. of coconut
  • 1 Tbsp. of sesame oils
  • 1 Tbsp. of carrot extract
  • Panthenol (if you like)

Dissolve both butters (shea and cocoa) in a water bath. Let the liquid fats cool off and then add the coconut oil. At the very end, once the fats have grown almost cold, add the cold-pressed sesame oil. Mix well. Now is the time for carrot extract and a drop of panthenol, if you are using it. Mix well again. Pour the finalized mixture into a sealable container and let it cool completely.

It is not necessary to store the cream in the fridge, but it does fare better in lower temperatures. Keep in mind that it will liquefy at higher temperatures.
