RECIPE: Yogurt Mango Smoothie

Insufficient probiotics and abdominal disbalances lead to digestive issues – constipation, diarrhea and gaseousness. If these last a long time, they can even cause serious illnesses, such as chronic intestinal inflammations or even cancer. That is why an optimal intestinal microflora is very important if you desire to stay healthy in the long term. You can achieve this by regularly consuming living microcultures, be it through yogurts or other fermented foods and vegetables.
Probiotics can also be substituted with digestive pills, though only for a short time. They work well when you are using antibiotics.
However, you can also make it more pleasant by treating yourself to something delicious that contains probiotics. That could be, for example, a yogurt smoothie made with quality yogurt and fruit rich in fiber.

YOGURT MANGO SMOOTHIE
You will need:
• 1 quality yogurt
• ½ a mango
• 6.7 Fl. oz. / 200 ml water
• Juice of half a lemon
• Mint or a slice of lemon for decoration

Directions:
Peel and cube the mango. Put it into a blender, add the yogurt and lemon juice, and then finally pour in the water and blend it. You can now leave it in the fridge to cool down or add some ice cubes when serving. It is delicious, refreshing, and full of healthy materials.
You can then make variations of this yogurt delicacy – use papaya, strawberries, apricots or peaches instead of mango. All these fruits contain plenty of vitamins and fiber, which, along with probiotics, are very important for proper intestinal functioning.
