Persian Walnut (Juglans regia) Annihilates Parasites

It is no surprise that the Persian walnut belongs to a royal plant family.

The common walnut can’t be missed in nature: it is a massive tree endowed with unique healing effects in both the leaves and the fruits.

It can be found in both lowlands and the mountains. It is a tree that commonly lives for a century. It blooms in
spring, yet it is advisable to give it some more time before harvesting.

Mid-June is the most suitable for picking both leaves and fruits. We can tell the harvest is due when the fruits can still be easily poked through, and they do not yet blacken. The ripe fruits are to be collected in September and October.

HEALTH BENEFITS
Regarding chemical composition, the walnut contains flavonoids, tannins, carotenoids, ascorbic acid, a minor amount of essential oils, and other valuable materials.
