Passion Flower & Chamomile Mind-Calming Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon dried chamomile
  • 1 teaspoon dried passion flower
  • 1 teaspoon local honey (optional)
  • 1 cup of water

Directions:

Prepare the tea by brining water in a saucepan to a low boil, then turn off the stove. Add the herbs to the water. Use a muslin bag or tea infuser. Cover with a lid right away so that the oils from the flowers do not evaporate. Allow it to steep for about 10–12 minutes. Remove from the stove, strain if needed, and pour into a mug. Then add some local, organic honey if desired. The tea is ideal for calming the mind before going to bed.
