Anyone with a desire to stay healthy must maintain their immune system. Indeed, only if it is strong enough can the organism resist the numerous bacteria and viruses in the environment. This applies even in the summer season; while it may well be a period with fewer strains of flu and influenza, there is nevertheless the chance of contracting tonsillitis due to overheating or air conditioning. It is also a time when people tend to travel more, eat exotic foods and interact with more people. Clearly, there are plenty of risky situations even in the warmer months, and nobody should neglect their immune system. And the basis of a strong immune system is a healthy gut!
