INGREDIENTS:
- 3 cups wheat flour
- ¾ cup finely ground brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 egg yolks
- 4 Tbsp. dried cream
- 3 Tbsp. ground walnuts
- 2 Tbsp. culinary grade matcha powder
- 2 Tbsp. ground ginger
DIRECTIONS:
Whip egg yolks with sugar, add warm butter and stir until the ingredients blend. Then add flour with baking powder, ginger, matcha, salt, dried cream, and ground walnuts. Stir well, and then use the mixture to make palm-sized cookie shapes and place them on baking paper on a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 480°F or 250°C for about five minutes, then bake at 340°F or 170°C until the cookies get slightly brown or stiffen.
