Valerian Tea

  • 1 tsp. of dried valerian root. This can be found in herb shops and health stores, or can be prepared by digging up and dehydrating a section of root from a valerian plant. Put in a tea ball or any other utensil used for loose-leaf teas.
  • 8 oz. hot or warm water.
  • Steep for 15 minutes and sip away.

For those (of legal age) that wish to incorporate valerian into an alcoholic tincture, the procedure is relatively easy. It just requires some time to properly cure.
