It is not an untruth when people say that hair is a woman’s crown of beauty, but for this statement to prove true one has to take good care of their hair. While the market does offer special hair products, reading the ingredients often reminds one of a list of materials in a chemistry lab. Thankfully enough, there are some natural products we can use to replace such chemicals to great effect.

Herbs Against Dandruff
Chamomile blossoms, greater burdock roots (Arctium lappa), lavender blooms, wormwood tops (Artemisia absinthium), nettle haulms or leaves, blossoming thyme tops (Thymus vulgaris), peppermint leaves (Mentha piperita), rosemary leaves (Rosmarinus officinalis), sage leaves, green tea.

Recipes for Beautiful Hair

HAIR GROWTH NETTLE TINCTURE

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. dried nettle leaves
2 Tbsp. dried nettle roots
5 Fl. oz. / 150 ml sterile 60% alcohol
10 Fl. oz. / 300 ml distilled water
Preparation:
Pour the sterile alcohol over the dried leaves and roots and let it infuse for two weeks in a lighted place. After that time has passed, decant the tincture through a linen or sieve, and add the distilled water. Use the tincture in scalp massages. If you wish to further improve the effect, you can wash your hair with herbal water.
