Most of us tend to neglect caring properly for our feet, especially when we’re young.
As we grow older, however, we may encounter some problems – swelling, aching, excessive sweating or the arches of our feet getting flatter.
Luckily, most of these can be easily avoided if we know how.
1) Working the toes While standing, let your arms hang loosely by your sides and, as you inhale, lift all your toes off the floor. Stretch them and then, while exhaling, lay them down one by one starting from the pinkie.
Then repeat the exercise, but this time starting from the other side. Explore the muscle intelligence of each toe and see if there is any asymmetry between the muscle proficiencies of both feet – whether one foot is more dexterous than the other.
